1. Introductory Provisions
These general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") govern the rights and obligations between the Seller and the customer when purchasing electronic gift vouchers through the website www.beaboutburger.sk.
By submitting the order, the customer confirms that they have read these GTC before sending and agree to them.
If the customer is a natural person who does not act within the scope of their business or profession when concluding and fulfilling the contract, they are considered a consumer and the relevant provisions of consumer protection laws apply to them.
2. Gift Voucher
A gift voucher represents the entitlement of its holder to redeem goods and/or services from BeAbout Burger up to the value stated on the voucher and under the conditions stated in these GTC and on the voucher itself.
The voucher includes, in particular, its value, validity period, and a unique identification code or other data allowing its verification.
The voucher can be used at the BeAbout Burger outlet or outlets for which it is designated according to the data stated on the voucher itself.
3. Order
The customer selects an available gift voucher via the website, fills in the required details, and submits the order.
Before submitting the order, the customer has the opportunity to review and correct the entered data.
The order becomes binding for the customer upon its submission via the corresponding button on the website, from which it is clearly apparent that submission entails the obligation to pay the price.
The Seller will send the customer an order confirmation to the provided e-mail address.
4. Price and Payment Terms
The price of the gift voucher is stated on the website at its order. The customer is informed of the total price they must pay before submitting the order.
The gift voucher can be paid by payment methods currently available in the ordering process on the website.
For online payment, the order is considered paid after successful payment confirmation by the respective payment service provider.
5. Delivery of the Gift Voucher
The gift voucher is delivered electronically to the e-mail address provided by the customer in the order.
After successful payment receipt, the voucher will be sent without undue delay to the customer's e-mail address.
The customer is obligated to provide a correct e-mail address when ordering. The Seller is not responsible for the inability to deliver the voucher due to an incorrectly provided e-mail address, a full mailbox, the customer's mail server settings, or the message being classified as spam.
If the customer does not receive the voucher after successful payment, they may contact the Seller at info@beaboutburger.sk.
6. Validity and Use of the Voucher
7. Transfer of the Voucher and Code Protection
Unless otherwise stated on the specific voucher, the gift voucher is transferable and can be used by a person other than its purchaser.
The customer and voucher holder are obliged to protect the unique voucher code from unauthorized access.
The voucher is considered used upon the first valid presentation of its unique code. The Seller is not responsible for the use of the voucher by unauthorized persons if they obtained the code without the Seller’s fault.
The Seller may block or replace a lost, stolen, or unauthorized voucher only if it can be clearly verified as owned, unused, and its status confirmed.
8. Withdrawal from the Contract
The consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason within the statutory 14-day period, unless legal regulations provide an exception.
The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded, unless the applicable law provides otherwise considering the nature of the specific performance.
The consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal by a clear statement sent to the Seller, for example by e-mail to info@beaboutburger.sk.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the consumer to send the withdrawal notice before the relevant period expires.
If the legal conditions for withdrawal from the contract are met, the Seller will refund the consumer the payments received no later than 14 days from the day the withdrawal notice was received.
The payment will be refunded in the same way the consumer used for the original payment, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the consumer and without incurring additional fees for the consumer.
The right to withdraw from the contract is exercised to the extent and under the conditions stipulated by Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection and other applicable legal regulations.
The buyer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract if the voucher has already been used.
9. Model Withdrawal Form
The consumer may, but is not obliged to, use the following form.
10. Complaints and Liability for Defects
If the customer receives an incorrect, damaged, illegible, or technically non-functional voucher, or if the voucher cannot be used despite its validity due to reasons on the Seller’s side, the customer has the right to file a complaint.
The customer can submit a complaint by email at info@beaboutburger.sk or in writing to the Seller’s registered office.
When filing a complaint, we recommend providing the order number, voucher identification, contact details, and a brief description of the issue.
The Seller will handle the complaint in accordance with applicable legal regulations and will inform the customer about the outcome of its processing.

Customers' personal data are processed in accordance with applicable legal regulations and data protection principles published on the website www.beaboutburger.sk..
12. Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution
The consumer has the right to request remediation from the Seller if they are dissatisfied with the way the Seller handled their complaint or believe that the Seller violated their rights.
If the Seller rejects the request for remediation or fails to respond within the legally prescribed time, the consumer has the right to submit a proposal to initiate alternative consumer dispute resolution to the relevant alternative dispute resolution entity.
The entity responsible for alternative dispute resolution for disputes within its competence includes in particular:
Slovak Trade Inspection
The current list of alternative dispute resolution entities and further information are available through the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Trade Inspection.
This does not affect the consumer's right to turn to the competent court.
13. Final Provisions
Legal relations not regulated by these GTC are governed by the relevant legal regulations of the Slovak Republic, especially the Civil Code and Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection.
The Seller is entitled to reasonably amend or supplement these GTC, especially in case of changes in legal regulations, sales methods, or functioning of gift vouchers.
The order is subject to the version of the GTC valid and effective at the time the order was sent by the customer.
If any provision of these GTC becomes invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the other provisions.
These GTC come into force and effect on September 9, 2026.
