3. Table Reservation

If you submit a reservation through our website, we process the data necessary to receive and handle it.

This mainly includes:

  • first and last name,
  • telephone number or email,
  • reservation date and time,
  • number of people,
  • any note or additional information you voluntarily provide to us.

Purpose of processing: receiving, confirming, recording, and handling reservations and communicating with the customer.

Legal basis: performance of measures prior to entering into a contract and fulfillment of a contractual relationship pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We retain data only for the period necessary to handle the reservation and subsequently for the period during which their retention may be necessary to protect our legitimate claims or comply with legal obligations.

You can submit a request regarding a corporate event, celebration, or other occasion on the website.

In such cases, we may process in particular:

  • telephone number,
  • email address,
  • company name or details, if relevant,

Purpose of processing: processing the request, preparing the offer, communication, organization and execution of the event.

Legal basis: performing measures before concluding the contract or fulfilling the contract according to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

5. Gift Vouchers and Orders

It is possible to purchase a gift voucher through the website.

In connection with the purchase, we may process in particular:

  • first and last name,
  • email address,
  • telephone number,
  • billing data,
  • order information,
  • amount and method of payment,
  • information necessary to create and deliver the gift voucher.

Purpose of processing: creation and processing of orders, payment acceptance, issuance and delivery of gift vouchers, accounting and tax record keeping, and handling any complaints or customer requests.

Legal basis: fulfillment of the contract according to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and compliance with legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Data which we must retain due to accounting, tax or other legal obligations are stored for the period specified by the applicable legal regulations.

If the payment is handled by an external payment service provider, the data necessary for payment may be processed by that provider according to its own privacy policy.

BeAbout does not normally have access to the full details of your payment card if those details are processed directly by the payment service provider.
